Is that actually Elsa Lancaster? If so it is an amazing image. Do you know the circumstances under which it was taken?

I am not safe, but i suppose that it was taken while the film was rolled :))

It's not Elsa Lancaster!
It's free fantasy on the theme of classic trash movie "Tha Bride of Frankenstein".
All shoots here: http://retroatelier.livejournal.com/3461.html

Trash movie? It's the best thing James Whale ever made! No cookie for you :)

I'm so emotionally torn on this...
The images are fantastic, but the non vintage nature is off topic...
I think this one slides under the radar..

Also I think "trash" is a translation error..

"Also I think "trash" is a translation error..."

Ah. That makes sense, then.

Well, I wouldn't say perfect, but they ARE pretty nice, yes :)

Looks a bit like Elsa Lanchester, but she would NEVER have done that!

"Looks a bit like Elsa Lanchester, but she would NEVER have done that"

Yeah, but you've got to admit it'd be kind of cool if she had :)

WOW, very striking.

Even though it is not "vintage" in origin, they certainly captured the mood.

I looked at the other images, the color material didn't have the emotional impact of the monochrome vintage style.

Agreed. I had an instructor, once, who told me that "color film captures what you see, while black and white captures what you think"... a bit pretentious, yes, but not terribly inaccurate.
