I had the same "push and shove" swing (photo #5) when I was a child! :)
But it was in Soviet Union in '80s

Isn't it sad to realise that in modern society, the neighbour helping the girls would be pounced upon by community watch groups?
Sad because there are people whom that would be necessary, and sad that society thinks everyone else is like that too.
I'm going to go get the old rope out and skip with my daughter now :D

World has progressed in a great hurry

These photos are from the sixties. So it has been about 50 years since these photos were taken. There is a vast difference in the Buildings, streets, cars, dresses and everything else between then and now. 50 years is not a very long time. The world has changed itself in a lot of hurry.
